At 9:20, the instrument control of the northbound main line was started, and the tide of returning northbound trains gradually increased, which may be crowded until late at night.

National 5 and Suhua Kai experienced a surge of traffic going north yesterday, with the longest backlog in the snow tunnel reaching 6.5 kilometers. The Toucheng Interchange and the Yisi ramp resumed smooth at 1:30 am today. The Yilan County Police Department estimates that there will still be traffic going north on National 5 today. There is a lot of congestion, and it may last until late at night. The police remind passers-by that, due to the long driving time, take a full rest before going on the road, and do not drive tired.

National 5 will implement a northbound high-speed load control from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm today. The police call on drivers to follow the instructions of the police officers on duty and not to jump in line. You can use the 0-5 pm toll collection period on the entire national road to avoid congested traffic.

As for the Suhua road corridor, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm today, and from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm tomorrow, large trucks over 21 metric tons will be prohibited from passing on the northbound lane, and buses will be allowed to drive on the Suhua road shoulder at the same time.
