In the city of Kodima, Odesa region, a gas cylinder
exploded
in a two-story apartment building .
One person died as a result of the incident.
This was reported to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The event took place on Wednesday, January 25.
The rescue service received a report about the explosion of a gas cylinder on one of the streets in Kodim at 15:48.
"Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and found that household property on the 1st floor of a multi-apartment, 2-story residential building was on fire. The windows in the apartments were broken. The emergency services specialists rescued two people, two more were evacuated to a safe place, one of them is a child." - the message says.
At 4:31 p.m., the fire was extinguished on an area of 50 m2.
A dead man was found at the scene of the fire.
