Previously, he openly spoke out about the criminal schemes of the Russian special services.
Telegram channel Gulagu.net reports this by publishing a photo of the victim.
The accident happened in the evening of January 25.
As a result of the collision, the former FSB employee was injured, but survived.
"The human rights association New dissidents foundation openly appeals to the US authorities, the police and the FBI, as well as the Department of Homeland Security with a request to provide additional protection to Fidar Khubayev and to conduct a thorough investigation into the fact of this accident," the message reads.
A few months ago, in a long interview, Khubayev described in detail the schemes used by the Russian special services against Oleksiy Navalny and other representatives of the opposition in the Russian Federation.
He also spoke about how the FSB sent him twice to Ukraine to join the private military company "Redut" to work in the headquarters and air reconnaissance for the purpose of gathering information.
It will be recalled that earlier the former commander of one of the mercenary units of the "Wagner" PMC fled abroad for the first time since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
Andriy Medvedev took part in the battles near Bakhmut and was the commander of the former prisoner Yevgeny Nuzhin, who was probably killed by the Wagnerites with a sledgehammer after returning from Ukrainian captivity.
