The International Finance Corporation (IFC) allocated a loan of 40 million US dollars to Bank Respublika OJSC.

"APA-Economics" was informed about this by the bank.

According to information, an agreement was signed between the parties in this regard.

This is one of the largest loan agreements signed between international financial organizations and Azerbaijani banks in recent years.

It was reported that the project is supported by IFC's Financial Initiative for Women Entrepreneurs and Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs program.

The main goal of the project is to expand bank lending to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including women entrepreneurs, by promoting economic activity in the post-pandemic period.
