The President of Ukraine,

, said that he is not currently interested in a meeting with the dictator of the Russian Federation, Volodymyr Putin.

The head of state wants the Russian occupiers, whom Putin sent to destroy Ukraine, to leave our country as soon as possible. 

He said this in an interview with the British TV channel Sky News.

He noted that although Moscow talks about the alleged possibility of negotiations with Kyiv, the Kremlin is lying outright, as the Russian invaders continue to attack Ukraine with missiles. 

When asked about the negotiations, Zelenskyi said that at the moment he is not interested in meeting with Putin and talking to the dictator.

Zelensky said: "After a full-scale invasion, for me (Putin) is nobody." 

Zelenskyi also stated that Ukraine is not going to fight on the territory of Russia.

The only wish is that the Russians stop the war as soon as possible and leave the territory of Ukraine.

"I'm not interested. I'm not interested in meeting, I'm not interested in talking... I really don't understand who makes the decisions in Russia. I don't want to fight on Russian territory. Speaking about the risk of a new possible large-scale attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, the president noted that Russia is losing thousands of soldiers, but is not ready to stop.

The President emphasized that it is extremely important for Ukraine to have a defense force.
