The Chancellor of Germany informed the head of state of his decision to supply Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks.

Zelensky reported this in his telegram.

"German main battle tanks, further expansion of defense support and training missions, green light to partners for the supply of similar weapons. I just heard about these important and timely decisions in a conversation with the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz. I am sincerely grateful to Olaf Scholz and all our friends in Germany." , - Zelensky wrote.

It will be recalled that the Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius said that Leopard 2 tanks from Germany can be delivered to Ukraine in about three months.
