Mykhailo Podolyak

, adviser to the head of the President's Office,

says that he is not ready to comment on the "strange statements" of self-proclaimed Belarusian President Oleksandr Lukashenka regarding the "non-aggression pact" from Ukraine.

He said this in an interview with Channel 24.

Podolyak recalled the words of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi that for the aggressor Russia, "Belarus' participation in the war is very desirable, but for Belarus itself, such participation is a mistake from a strategic point of view."

"They have already provided infrastructure, provided certain ranges, airfields, fuel bases, repair capabilities, etc., but still, it would be good for Belarus, to put it mildly, not to enter the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, if Lukashenko wants to sign some kind of "non-aggression pact "then, please, let him sign, maybe even with himself. After the war, we would also sign separate pacts with other states, based on the consequences of this war," Mykhailo Podolyak stressed.

It will be recalled that

Lukashenko said that Kyiv offers to conclude a non-aggression pact with Minsk.

Like, so that the Belarusian troops do not move towards Ukraine.

However, the dictator did not tell Belarus about the details of such a proposal.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that

Ukraine has no aggressive intentions towards Belarus.

Moreover, Kyiv warns Minsk against participating in the war on the side of the Russian Federation.
