At least 2 weeks will pass between the formation of an offensive group in Belarus and its possible invasion of Ukraine, so Ukrainian defenders will have time to thoroughly prepare for this.
On January 25, the head of the State Border Service, Serhiy Deineko, announced this on the air of a telethon.
According to him, currently the enemy has not created any offensive group on the territory of Belarus, therefore there are no real threats to Ukraine from this direction.
Currently, there are 6,000 to 10,000 Russian military personnel in the Republic of Belarus participating in joint exercises.
Deineko emphasized that the Ukrainian military monitors the situation in Belarus and is ready for any development.
So, in the event of a probable invasion of the occupiers from the Republic of Belarus, the Armed Forces will have at least 2 weeks to prepare.
"We will have at least 2 weeks. Our intelligence works very well, stably. None of the enemy's plans can be hidden from our intelligence officers," Deineko emphasized.
