The Ukrainian city of Odessa has been included in the "List of World Heritage in Danger".

According to him, today, during the 18th extraordinary session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, a decision was made to include the file "Historic Center of the Port City of Odessa" in the "List of World Heritage in Danger".

"From now on, we will receive additional UNESCO protection to protect our seaside pearl from Russia's destructive aggression against Ukraine. Prior to this important decision, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, and the Odessa City Council have done long and painstaking work. .

I express my gratitude to His Highness Prince Haifa Al Mogrin, President of the World Heritage Committee, as the head of the National Commission for UNESCO, for his firm position and his response to Russia's attempts to disrupt the consideration of the Ukraine dossier during the session.
