According to her, the BSP has become a hostage to the party career of Cornelia Ninova.

That is why there is a need for a left in Bulgaria, where clientelism and authoritarian ways of party management will remain in the past.

"A left that will not wage a fratricidal war against the president. This is a self-destructive war in which rank-and-file socialists do not participate, it is waged by the leadership," she added.

Manolova stated that there will be a left unity.

"We will have common lists in the upcoming elections. For the next local elections, we will merge into a single left-wing political entity. The left-wing union will include intellectuals, and I expect many socialists who do not agree with the line that Ninova and the train around it are taking "Also those honest people on the left who want a real and strong left that will protect the working people and the vulnerable in Bulgaria," she pointed out.

"In this organization that I head, there are maybe two or three BSP members. In just 5 years, the party under Ninova's leadership lost 700,000 votes and became an easily bypassed factor that is used as a crutch by the status quo," he said she.
