A major robbery took place in Sofia, Blitz reports.

The action scene took place in the parking lot in front of a store of a large retail chain on "Tsarigradsko shose" 7-11 km.

"I went shopping, suddenly I heard screams, screeching tires, and then more screams," says an eyewitness.

According to him, two men attacked another.

"The victim said that a large amount of money was taken from him," he added.

They robbed an exchange office in Haskovo

Immediately after the attack, the thieves got into a car and drove off in an unknown direction.

Policemen and medics arrived at the scene and are helping the attacked man.

The exact amount of money with which the man parted has not yet been officially disclosed.

The perpetrators of the robbery are being sought.
