The German state has confirmed that it will give Ukraine two 'Leopard' battle tanks and approved the request of other countries to do so.

The British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, has said that the move by Germany and other 'NATO' partners to send tanks to Ukraine is the right decision.

"The correct decision of NATO partners and friends to send tanks to Ukraine, will strengthen the defense force of Ukraine.

Together, we are accelerating our efforts to ensure that Ukraine wins this war and finds lasting peace," Sunak wrote on Twitter.

The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki has thanked the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz for the decision to send two Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

"The decision to send Leopards to Ukraine is a big step towards stopping Russia," Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.
