New Delhi:

The sky remained cloudy in the national capital on Tuesday morning.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on January 26, on the occasion of Republic Day, the national capital is expected to remain cloudy and light rain.

The department blamed the clouds in the sky for the decrease in cold at night.

He said that the clouds trap the heat during the day, due to which the night temperature remains above normal.

However, they also prevent the sunlight from reaching the earth, which leads to a decrease in the day temperature.

According to IMD, light rain is expected in Delhi till Thursday due to the effect of an intense Western Disturbance affecting Northwest India.
