Bhopal:

A 22-year-old tribal girl, who had come to Bhopal in search of a job from Shahdol, was allegedly gang-raped by two men.

Police is investigating by registering a case.

Sandeep Panwar, in-charge of Mangalwara police station, said on Tuesday that the incident took place on January 12, but the woman lodged an FIR on January 19 after returning to her home in Shahdol, 500 km from Bhopal.

He said, "The girl reached Bhopal railway station on the night of January 11, but her friend asked her to go back saying that no job was available."

When the girl came out of the railway station, an auto rickshaw driver came to her.

He lured her to take with him in a car in which a man was sitting.

She said that they took her to a house where they sexually assaulted her.
