A 74-year-old pensioner was detained in the case of parcels with bombs sent to the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain, the residence of the Spanish Prime Minister and the Ministry of Defense of the country, reports El Pais.

According to the publication, police officers arrested a 74-year-old man in the city of Burgas in the north of the country as the possible author of six parcels with pyrotechnic materials.

It is reported that the arrested man, a citizen of Spain, acted independently and is not connected to any groups.

Now the police are searching his place of residence in Burgas.

We remind you that on November 30, an explosion took place at the Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid.
