The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, said that the United States is participating in the struggle that Ukraine is waging against Russian aggression, but this struggle is not against Russia.

He spoke about this on Wednesday, January 25, during a briefing at the White House.

"In the face of Russian aggression, we have determination and we believe in the strength of the Ukrainian army. In December, I told President Zelensky that we will support Ukraine as long as necessary," the American leader emphasized.

At the same time, he assured that the struggle waged by the United States is not directed "against Russia."

"This is not a fight against Russia, it is a fight for freedom. The fight waged by the USA is for the freedom of Ukraine and the freedom of other countries. Because we want to live in a free world and for our children to live. For this, we must help Ukraine defend itself in the face of this threat," Joe Biden emphasized.
