President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Tuesday, January 24, signed decrees on the dismissal of five heads of OVA - Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Sumy and Kherson. 

Relevant decisions are published on the president's website. 

The president's decrees state that the heads of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kyiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions themselves submitted applications for their dismissal from their positions. 

We will remind that the former head of the Kyiv OVA, Oleksiy Kuleba, was appointed deputy head of the President's Office.

Previously, this position was held by the dismissed Kyrylo Tymoshenko. 

Large-scale personnel purges in power 

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, in his latest appeals to Ukrainians, announced new personnel purges.

On January 24, during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the first such decisions were made.

It is about the dismissal of four people from the positions of deputy ministers and five heads of regional military administrations. 

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President, also wrote a resignation letter.

The deputy general prosecutor, who was on vacation in Spain during the war, was also dismissed.
