The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny received one million dollars as an inheritance from an American of Ukrainian origin Hryhoriy Stepants.

Zaluzhny donated all funds to the Armed Forces. 

This is reported by The New York Times. 

The Stepantsiv family informed journalists that Hryhoriy Stepanets bequeathed Valery Zaluzhny one million dollars.

The Commander-in-Chief transferred the money to the needs of the Armed Forces. 

The military press service confirmed this fact in a comment to American journalists. 

It will be recalled that since the beginning of the war, Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhnyi dismissed 10 generals from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Another committed suicide. 

Also, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi fulfilled the dream of a boy whose father disappeared during the war.

On St. Nicholas Day, the child dreamed of dad's return and a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
