This Monday the service was affected due to a capacity deficit from 3:50 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

The maximum impact at night was 524 MW at 6:30 p.m., coinciding with peak hour, reports the Unión Eléctrica.

In its daily note corresponding to this Tuesday, the UNE indicates that it is estimated that there will be affectations in the service during daylight hours, with a maximum affectation of 450 MW.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Mariel, units 2 and 3 of the CTE Santa Cruz, units 4 and 5 of the CTE Nuevitas, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and unit 3 of the CTE I rented.

Unit 8 of the CTE Mariel, the CTE Guiteras unit, unit 6 of the CTE Nuevitas and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté are under maintenance.

In addition, the limitations on thermal generation (179 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 824 MW are unavailable due to failure, and 421 MW under maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 2 of Energas Boca de Jaruco, with 30 MW, is expected;

the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco, with 65 MW, and the incorporation of unit 3 of CTE Santa Cruz, with 80 MW;

unit 3 of the Pico San José Plant, with 16 MW, and 58 MW in diesel engines.

With this forecast, the UNE estimates for the peak hour an availability of 2,289 MW and a maximum demand of 2,800 MW, for a deficit of 511 MW, so that if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 581 MW is forecast in this schedule.
