Transfer of Leopard-2 tanks to Ukraine: what is known

On January 20, during a meeting in the Ramstein format, the allies did not make a decision on the supply of Leopard to Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that

Berlin is ready to speed up the transfer of tanks

.

Because of this, Germany began to be sharply criticized by other states.

In Poland, they said that they are ready to hand over modern tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine without the participation of Germany, and sent a request to the government of this country regarding the handing over of weapons to Ukraine.

The day before, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Berbock, said that Berlin is allegedly not against the supply of tanks to Ukraine.

But he wants to increase the coalition of such suppliers.
