"I came to Baku yesterday. I got to know the city and I was amazed by its magnificence. This night is special for me. I am grateful for the organization of the night, and at the same time, that you are here."

"I had the chance to read the book, and I am very happy about it. As a result, I got acquainted with the creative thinking of Drago Štambuk. This is the first time that a Croatian author is translated into Azerbaijani. Firsts are never forgotten. Therefore, I congratulate Mr. Drago. And the account I think that we will have specialists in the Croatian language, books will be translated, so we have a lot of work to do."

Later, the event participants also shared their impressions about the poet.
