"We are waging a war against Russia, not against each other," Berbok told the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg today.

Germany's foreign minister has admitted that Germany needs to do more to protect Ukraine.

"Yes, we need to do more in terms of tanks as well," Berbok said, stressing that unity among allies was still the "most important part" of supporting Ukraine against Russia.

Berbok warned against "finger-pointing" in the ongoing dispute over whether Germany will allow the delivery of Leopard 2 tanks, which Kyiv says are vital to recapturing territory seized by Russia.
