Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will try to expand the Belarusian front, but he will not have enough resources to do so.

This opinion was expressed by a military expert, an expert of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research Center Mykhailo Samus on the Espresso broadcast.

"The Russians will try to expand the Belarusian front, but for now these are the theoretical intentions of the Putin regime and Putin himself. He currently has no resources, he is trying to realize his plans in various ways.

Putin has returned Gerasimov, who will draw the map.

Now resources are important. In Russia, for this year with resources everything has a minus sign," Samus emphasized.

The expert believes that Russia has about half a year left to implement any plans, because further, in his opinion, the Russian economy will face a catastrophic decline.

What is happening in Belarus

We will remind, on January 19, in Belarus, combat helicopters were flown

closer to the border with Ukraine

.

In particular, 11 Russian helicopters were transferred from the Belarusian Machulyshchy to Lunynets.

Also, Russia continues to transfer personnel and military equipment to the territory of Belarus.

At the same time, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War are convinced that now there will be no second attack on Ukraine from the north due to the lack of equipment and personnel of the occupiers in Belarus.

The probable offensive from the territory of the Republic of Belarus may begin no earlier than the fall of 2023.
