On Wednesday (January 25), Germany is expected to allow Poland to re-export German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

APA reports with reference to "Bloomberg" that an informed source, who did not want to be named, said about this.

It should be noted that today the Minister of Defense of Poland said that the application regarding the permission to send "Leopard" tanks to Ukraine has already been submitted to the German side.

German law requires approval for the re-export of domestically produced military equipment, meaning that hundreds of Leopard tanks in Europe can only be sent to Ukraine with Berlin's approval.
