Russian President Vladimir Putin did not cancel the decree on mobilization in the Russian Federation, but he cannot officially announce the second wave.

At the same time, personnel are constantly recruited, and Russian propaganda levels the value of life, trying to send Russian men to die for "the Tsar and the Fatherland".

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said this in an interview with TSN.ua.

"The decree itself (on mobilization - Ed.) does not need to be changed, it either exists or it does not exist. If it does not have an end date for mobilization, it means that it will be in effect until it is canceled. Number of personnel , which is demobilized, is not in the decree. And in fact, this decree can be equated with general mobilization, because there is no expiration date and there is no number of personnel that they call up today," he said.

However, according to Zhdanov, the internal political situation in the Russian Federation is such that Putin cannot officially announce the second wave of mobilization today, because he is afraid of a social explosion.

At the same time, the expert notes, Russian propaganda is now trying to level the value of human life, so that Russian men go to die "not in a ditch for vodka, but for the king and the fatherland."

"Secondly, they say that if you don't go to the Military Commissariat, then tomorrow NATO will come and take your toilet on the street and you will have nowhere to go. They are pulling you by the ears for this war according to the principle: "Stand up, great country". But even in such a situation In this case, they are not able to stand up today and say: "We have mobilization, martial law, the economy is on a war footing and we are preparing for a national war, as it was in 1941." No, they cannot do this. they have a huge problem, and the decree is valid and will continue to be valid. They are constantly recruiting personnel," Zhdanov says.

According to him, the Russian Federation has no equipment and the leadership is forming reserve battalions with personnel.

"They cannot produce more or less modern weapons due to sanctions, there are no spare parts, and in order to restore the weapons that they remove from storage, they need to have those Soviet technologies. But these enterprises, these technological chains have all already been destroyed , something was sawed off there, handed over for scrap metal. These enterprises do not exist today, or they have been converted to other equipment. I doubt that today "Uralvagonzavod" can restore the T-72 tank in its original form. They are used to making T-72B3 with French sights, rangefinders, with a modern digital radio station, etc. And they can't repair the old Soviet sight for him, because there are no spare parts," Zhdanov summarized.

 Mobilization in the Russian Federation

Earlier, military expert Oleg Zhdanov reported that a second wave of mobilization is planned in Russia for January-February, and a third one for May-June.

According to the expert, the Russian Federation wants to gather 1,200,000 troops by the summer.

According to the military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan,

an unannounced second wave of mobilization is already underway

in Russia , during which the Kremlin issues 100,000 new "mobs" per month.

At the same time, the Russian media

were forbidden to spread any statements about mobilization

, even if they come from the State Duma or the Federation Council.
