The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, by his decree put into effect the decision of the National Security Council of January 23 to ban the travel abroad of Ukrainian high-ranking officials, law enforcement officers, judges and other representatives of state authorities.

This is stated in Zelensky's decree, which was published on the official website of the president.

With his decree, Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the ban on travel abroad to Ukrainian representatives of the authorities, officials of law enforcement agencies, judges, people's deputies and other officials.

The Cabinet of Ministers must make changes to the rules for crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine within 5 days.

Now representatives of all branches of government can go abroad only on a business trip.

The SBU and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces will control the departure of officials abroad.

We will remind you that there was a scandal in Ukraine due to the fact that Deputy Prosecutor General Oleksiy Symonenko went on vacation to Spain during the war.

In his address, Zelensky emphasized that "if officials want to rest, let them do it outside the state service."
