The new offensive of the Russian occupiers can start anywhere, because the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin cares only about the goals he orders to be achieved, while the lives of his own citizens do not matter to him.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with the German TV channel ARD.

According to Zelenskyi, there is a huge gulf between the worldview of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Putin sends hundreds of thousands of ordinary Russians, foreign children, to die in the war, because the Russian elite protects their children.

He added that Putin continues to demand from his generals to achieve some goals at the front, and this despite the fact that every day a large number of Russians die at the front.

"The offensive can come from any direction. The offensive can be in the south or the east. He set himself the goal of reaching the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. These constant tasks, hundreds, thousands of people die every day, and he still sets these tasks ", the president said.

What is known about the probable new offensive of the Russian Federation

The Ukrainian authorities do not rule out that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, will dare to repeat

a major offensive,

and calls on the West not to delay military assistance.

In particular, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Vadym Skibitsky, said that the spring and early summer of 2023 will be decisive in the

full-scale war

started by the Russian Federation.

Defense Minister

Oleksiy Reznikov

does not rule out that the Russians may

launch an offensive in the south and east of Ukraine in the spring.

"

Spring is the best period to resume the offensive for all parties

... We understand that they will be ready to start and, of course, we must be ready to start," the minister said.

In December, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces

Valery Zaluzhny

warned that the Russian Federation was

preparing for a new major offensive

 against Ukraine.

According to him, for this purpose, Putin is gathering a group of up to 200,000 troops, which he can attack in January-February or in the spring.

In his opinion, Kyiv may be under threat.

Former adviser to Vladimir Putin, Russian economist

 Andriy Illarionov

 claims that the

Kremlin is soon preparing to start a new phase of the war

 - with large-scale military operations and new weapons that have not been used before.
