The date of the new counteroffensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces depends on when Ukraine receives all the necessary weapons promised by the allies.

This was stated by military expert Oleg Zhdanov on the air of his YouTube channel.

"The supply of weapons is on schedule. You remember, General Milli met with General Zaluzhny. That's where the supply plan was agreed upon. Therefore, everything is clearly planned. There are already echelons with equipment on the territory of Europe, which are moving to the East. Until we receive the whole package assistance, there is no point in starting active hostilities. After all, the very equipment that has not yet been delivered to Ukraine may not be enough to achieve success during a counteroffensive," Zhdanov noted.

Earlier, General Mark Milley said that the American military had started training Ukrainian fighters in Germany.

The new counteroffensive of the Armed Forces: what is known

At the end of 2022, many foreign media predicted a new powerful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces in the spring of the new year.

Thus, the American publication Forbes wrote that the fourth large-scale counteroffensive of Ukraine may be in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.

The New York Times named Melitopol as the next target for the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces.

However, against the background of rumors about a new wave of mobilization in the Russian Federation, more and more Western and Ukrainian experts assume that in the coming weeks, or even months, the Armed Forces will not be ready for a counteroffensive.

After all, it will be necessary to repel new enemy attacks.
