Some aspects related to Netaji still remain a mystery to everyone.

Kolkata:

The whole country is remembering Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 126th birth anniversary.

Some aspects related to his life still remain a mystery to everyone.

Which most people want to know.

The book 'History of INA' written by the Ministry of Defense is away from the eyes of the people till date, and it is believed that some important revelations have been made about him in this book.

The writings, compiled by a team of historians under the leadership of the late Professor Pratul Chandra Gupta, were given the form of a book by the researchers.

The Central Government had given an assurance to the Delhi High Court that it would publish it by the end of July in 2011, but now it has not been released.

This assurance was given during the hearing on the petition filed to publish this book.

The mystery deepens with a copy of a 'note' purportedly written by an official of the Ministry of External Affairs and found in the 'letter box' of Sukhendu Shekhar Rai, a Trinamool Congress MP and a long-time researcher on Netaji. put in.

It stated that the publication of the article "will not affect India's relations with any country in the region... The pages (186-191) relating to the death of Netaji Bose are likely to be more controversial." by Rai. According to the note shared with PTI, "Unfortunately, there is no clarity on the subject (of Bose's death) from the present section and only a thought is shared that maybe Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose died in the plane crash." I was saved alive." 'PTI-Bhasha' does not confirm the credibility of this 'note'.

Eyewitnesses, including Netaji's companion Abid Hasan, say that Bose died in an air crash in Taipei on 18 August 1945, although some doubt this.

One of the three official commissions set up to investigate has also raised questions on this.

Rai said, “In January 2021, I wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi indicating all this and requested him to publish the book.

No solution has been found till date." He said that in the conclusion of this alleged 'note' it was said that "the Ministry of External Affairs cannot have any objection from political point of view for such publication".

Professor Gupta was a noted expert on Maratha history, who later became the Vice-Chancellor of the Visva Bharati University at Santiniketan.

He was selected to write about the military history of the INA (Indian National Army aka Azad Hind Fauj).

Most of Netaji's family members, such as his daughter Anita Bose Faf and great-grandson and noted historian Sugato Bose, believe that Netaji died in a 1945 plane crash in Taipei.

Many people are demanding that the remains kept at Renkoji Temple in Japan after the plane crash be brought back and 'DNA' tested so that the issue can be resolved once and for all.
