They condemned the prosecutor's office for the murder of six in Novi Iskar.

The reason is that the perpetrator Rosen Angelov should have been in prison for fornication with a child on the night of the crime.

According to the prosecution, they must pay more than BGN 240,000 in compensation to the mother of one of the victims - 18-year-old Bobby.

Rosen Angelov committed the six murders on December 31 five years ago.

According to the Sofia City Court, then he should have been in prison for fornication with an 11-year-old child.

However, for years, the prosecutor in the case, according to the court, did nothing effective to find Angelov and take him to prison.

He remained at large and that's how the murder happened.

And Bobby's mother says that she lives hard, with pain, and the compensation does not bring her comfort, reports BTV.

December 31, 2017.

18-year-old Bobby tells his mother that he will celebrate New Year's at a classmate's house, but he is actually at his friend Nancy's home with her family in Novi Iskar.

In the evening, he stops answering his phone, Stefana Elisavetova, the mother of the murdered Bobby, told BTV.

"All the girls were shot. They said that Rosen Angelov was Keti's lover and he shot them," the woman recalled.

The body of Kathy, Nancy's mother, is found in a well.

The remaining five bodies – in different rooms in the family's house in Novi Iskar.

- How do you live five years like this?

"It's difficult. With pain. I don't have another child. From work at home and that's it. My heart rate is 200, I have palpitations, I don't sleep for whole nights, my head hurts constantly," says Elisavetova.

Last Friday, the Sofia City Court issued a decision - to pay Bobby's mother compensation for non-property damages of 160,000 BGN, with interest - a little over 242,000 BGN.

Motives - Rosen Angelov was sentenced to 8 years in prison for fornication.

The prosecutor in the case, Valentin Kirilov, instead of ensuring the execution of the sentence, for years carried out "uniform and ineffective actions".

More precisely, he gave instructions for Angelov to be searched for at an address he had long since left, and to talk to his relatives who had no contact with him, the court's decision also says.

"A simple reading of the evidence shows that some blanket letters were exchanged, the prosecutor did not do his job, and as a result of that failure to do his job, there is a hexadecimal murder."

For me, this is an official crime," said Nikolay Dimitrov, Stefana Elisavetova's lawyer.

Therefore, Bobby's family will report the actions of Prosecutor Kirilov to the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor's Office.

"This is a human life, no amount is enough, they can't give me my child back.

It will bring me comfort when the prosecutor who didn't do his job 9 years ago goes to jail.

Then I can say that I have some consolation," said Stefana Elisavetova.

The prosecutor's office remains silent, as the court's decision is not final and is subject to appeal.
