Prof. Spas Tashev from BAS believes that the arrival of the Macedonian foreign minister is putting out a fire.

Bulgaria summoned its ambassador to North Macedonia for consultations

"His visit is aimed at blunting the Bulgarian reaction, so that it does not become extremely sharp in front of the international community. North Macedonia tried to talk about reciprocity, because we have also been aggressive and caused a similar reaction. In recent years, I have not known a Macedonian to be beaten because he is Macedonian. Buyar Osmani's words are neo-fascism. We must inform our European partners about what is happening in the RSM," he pointed out.

Viktor Stoyanov, chairman of the "Macedonia" foundation, that the bully has previous acts, and it is not clear what will happen to the other two, who are suspected of having participated in the beating.

"Diplomacy is one thing, but practice is another, Macedonian institutions do not work well for Bulgarians. We have many cases in which Bulgarians file complaints that they are attacked and threatened, the police do not react. In schools and in the media, hatred against the Bulgarian people is cultivated, tendentious attitude. All suggestions create severe hatred in part of the Macedonian society. If the institutions in the RSM do not start working for Bulgarians and stop instilling hatred, we may have Bulgarians killed," he warned.

And he called for capital to be invested for the integration of Bulgarians in the RSM.
