The district court in Montana confirmed a permanent measure of detention of the recidivist with 14 convictions K.A.A.

set fire to the house of A.P.K.

in the village of Kriva bara, municipality of Brusartsi, as the house burned down completely.

K.A.A.

was a tenant in this house and lived in it with his family.

The court in Lom issued a permanent restraining order against the arsonist and sent him to prison in Vratsa until the case against him was completed.

However, he appealed to the District Court, stating that he did not set the house on fire intentionally, but unintentionally due to carelessness and that he wanted to be free to take care of his three children.

After reviewing the evidence collected in the case and the criminal history of K.A.A., who has 14 convictions for various crimes, and currently has two pending criminal proceedings for theft and rape, the magistrates in Montana decided, that if he is released, K.A.A.

may abscond or commit another crime.

Therefore, they confirmed the decision of the District Court in Lom and left the recidivist in prison.

The decision is final and not subject to appeal, the Court of Justice in Montana specified.
