Heavy weapons and other combat systems are absolutely urgent for Ukraine, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Spiegel writes about it.

Stoltenberg emphasized the unity of NATO and again advocated an increase in arms supplies.

"Since the war began almost a year ago, there has been an unprecedented level of support in the alliance," Stoltenberg said.

He called on NATO allies to supply Ukraine with more heavy weapons and equipment for the Armed Forces.

It is about combat systems.

The Secretary General called this need "absolutely urgent".

"So if we really want to have a solution under which Ukraine survives as a sovereign and free country, then it is absolutely necessary to act in this way," added the Secretary General.

Let us add that the USA advises Ukraine not to launch a counteroffensive until the last batch of American weapons is available, and the fighters have undergone appropriate training.

In an interview with TSN.ua, Ukrainian expert, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Oleksiy Hetman, told how ready Ukraine is for a counteroffensive and when it might happen.
