According to the minister, the government of Georgia, as well as the national bank of the country, strictly monitors compliance with international sanctions both in the banking and financial sector and in the field of trade.

Lasha Kutsishvili emphasized that Georgia has received many letters of thanks for the measures it implemented last year in the direction of imposing sanctions.

He added that Georgia is currently one of the most advanced countries in the direction of applying international sanctions.
