The Director of the Service for Kosovo in the Serbian Government, Petar Petkovic, stated that members of the special Kosovo police ROSU fired today around 11:30 a.m. at a car in which two Serbs were traveling, as a result of which Miljan D. was injured. His companion Dusan S. escaped unharmed, and the entire car was punctured, reports Tanyug, quoted by BTA.

According to Petar Petkovic, the incident took place at an illegal checkpoint on the Bistrica bridge on the main Kosovska Mitrovica-Leposavich road.

The Serb has a gunshot wound in the left side of the chest and was transported urgently to the hospital in Kralevo, Petkovic said.

KFOR Commander: The situation in Kosovo is calm, but fragile and unstable

Members of (Prime Minister Albin) Kurti's ROSU special forces shot at the Serbian vehicle and the Serbs in it only because the Serbs did not want to allow themselves to be mistreated by the ROSU police without any basis or reason.

Kurti's ROSU special units have nothing to do in the northern part of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in this checkpoint, which was illegally erected and from which the Serbian people passing by are harassed every day, Petar Petković said.

According to him, Belgrade has warned from the beginning about the presence of special forces in the north and that the only purpose of these forces is to cause incidents and mistreat Serbs in the province, which, he stressed, was demonstrated today.

It is obvious that Kurti does not hesitate to spill Serbian blood and that is the sole purpose of the existence of his squadrons in northern Kosovo, Petkovic stated.
