'INS Vagir' is the third submarine to be commissioned into the Indian Navy in the last two years.

Kalvari Class (i.e. Scorpene Class) submarine 'Vagir' is going to join the Indian Navy today.

Shortly, Navy Chief Admiral R.K.

Harikumar will include it in the fleet, which is being called as 'New Shikari'.

  • Vagir, the fifth submarine of the Kalvari class, has been built in India with the help of M/s Naval Group of France.
