Announcements about the collection of information about Ukrainians appeared in a number of large Polish cities in public places.

Poles are also sent e-mail messages with "requests"

to inform about refugees from Ukraine

who live in rented accommodation.

The letters allegedly come from the e-mail address of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland. 

Fraudsters even threaten fines for those who don't do it.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is not the author of the advertisements and does not collect the information specified in the flyers. The

publicly available logo of the department has been used to make this information appear to be true. The content of the flyer may suggest that this is an attempt to obtain personal data.
