On Monday, January 23, a powerful explosion rang out in a high-rise building in Khmelnytskyi on Lvivske Shosse Street.
A 24-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman died at the scene of the tragedy.

The explosion occurred in an apartment on the 8th floor of a residential building at 11:00 a.m.
The body of a 24-year-old man, a native of the Shepetiv district of Khmelnytskyi region, was found at the scene of the tragedy.
A 51-year-old local woman was also found there.
The woman's condition was serious, she died during the provision of medical assistance.

According to preliminary data, the explosion was caused by an RGD-5 grenade.

According to the story of TSN.19:30, a 24-year-old guy rented an apartment from a 51-year-old woman.
They worked together at the Khmelnytskyi sewing enterprise.
