8 European countries joined the sanctions against Russia and maximum oil prices.

APA reports that this was stated in the institution's statement.

These are North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, as well as the countries of the European Free Trade Zone - Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

It was stated that these countries support the sanctions policy of the organization to join the European Union.

European free trade area countries must comply with all trade restrictions imposed by the EU, otherwise they may become a gray export zone.

Serbia, which has consistently refused to impose sanctions against Russia, remains the only candidate for EU membership.
