The Mariupol City Council writes about this.
During the siege of the city, the occupiers purposefully destroyed the private sector.
About 11,000 houses were completely destroyed.
More than 35,000 were damaged.
To this day, most of them remain completely or partially destroyed.
A similar fate, according to the plan of the occupiers, awaits almost 1,000 high-rise buildings
"When dismantling houses, the Russians make real concrete mass graves.
After all, some of them still contain the bodies of Mariupol residents killed during the blockade.
A cynical attempt to hide one's crimes," the message reads.
There are already more than 50 such buildings demolished from the map of Mariupol. At the same time, people are faced with the fact of demolition, preventing them from moving normally.
People are forced to solve this issue on their own in order not to be left on the street.
The situation in Mariupol
The occupiers are gradually turning the Mariupol seaport
into a military base
.
At the end of December 2022, all residents of Mariupol were released from the port (with the exception of some specialist collaborators) and workers were brought in from Russia.
Recently, during a conversation on one of the social networks, the occupier from Buryatia
told how they destroyed Mariupol
.
In Mariupol, the Russians
demolished buildings in the Left Bank district.
Among them are two kindergartens, a school and a children's rehabilitation center.
Now housing for the military will be built here.
