The incident of firing during the celebration of Chinese New Year in Los Angeles is coming to the fore.

Till now there is news of death of many people in this incident.

According to media reports, this firing took place last night at 10 pm on the occasion of Chinese New Year in Monterey Park.

According to the police, it is not yet decided that how many people have been injured and how many have died in this incident. 

According to Reuters, the police is currently investigating the whole matter.

Police officials told that more than ten thousand people were participating in the event.

At the same time, according to the LA Times, the owner of a restaurant told him that some people had come to him to seek asylum.

Those people said that he was firing with a machine gun.

So they need a place to hide.   

Seung Won Choi told the newspaper that he believed the shooting took place at a dance club.

Monterey Park is a city in Los Angeles County, approximately 11 km from downtown Los Angeles.
