, the Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure detained by NABU, has

 been dismissed from his post.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov announced this.

"Today, by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Vasyl Lozynskyi was dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure... When making personnel decisions in the new ministry, we were guided by the need to preserve institutional memory, but, obviously, that is not the case. I gave instructions to the Ministry's team to start the inspection of all active projects of the Ministry of Regions, including budget funds, funds of international financial institutions and technical assistance projects," he wrote on Facebook.

We will remind, on January 21, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detained the First Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine,

, for embezzlement of budget funds.

He was detained while receiving a bribe in the amount of 400 thousand US dollars.

"He was detained while receiving an illegal benefit in the amount of 400,000 US dollars. He received these funds for assisting in the conclusion of contracts for the purchase of equipment and machinery," the NABU said in a statement.

A criminal case was opened against the deputy minister under Part 4 of Art.

368, Part 5 of Art.

191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing, all persons involved in the scam are being identified.
