Russia

is preparing for a new offensive.

The first sign is an increase in the activity of information attacks.

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, wrote about this in a column for Ukrainian Pravda.

Danilov noted that the Russians continue to dream of capturing Kyiv.

But for now, according to him, the maximum task for the Russians is to make a breakthrough in the operational directions: the south, the full occupation of the Ukrainian Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the interruption of arms supply chains.

Which, by the way, they still do not succeed.

"And, of course, Kyiv remains the main dream of Putin's fantasies. Russia is preparing for an offensive, the first sign of which, according to its constant tactics, is the implementation of active information measures.

The Secretary of the NSDC also explained that information attacks are launched before hostilities: "Before the tanks start firing, poisonous information gases are launched, which consist of lies, manipulations, fakes and disinformation, activation of agents of the information front."

The risk of a new offensive by the Russian Federation

In the spring, the Russians may advance from the areas

they have already occupied in the south and east of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, warned earlier.

NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov also believes that Russia may try to make its final push

on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion, or as early as March.

Danilov also warned that the

next two or three months of the war will be very important and decisive.

According to him, both sides are preparing for the battle.

Polish General Waldemar Skzypchak believes that Russia can attack Ukraine from its own territory, and

the Belarusian direction will only divert attention.

 Under this scenario

, Poltava and Dnipro are under attack.

But other Polish military officers assume

that in 2023 Russian troops will strike Ukraine from the territory of Belarus

and try to take Kyiv again, possibly with the participation of Lukashenka's troops, in order to draw Belarus into the war.

Instead, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Vadym Skibitsky, doubts that the invaders will leave Belarus.

According to him,

the main battlefield will be in Donbas.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the press service of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, assures that

Lukashenko is leading the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin by the nose.

Yusov says that, as of now, there is no threat of an open invasion by Belarus on the territory of Ukraine.

The ISW stated that the probable offensive from Belarus could begin

no earlier than the fall of 2023.
