Currently, there is no threat of an open invasion by Belarus into the territory of Ukraine.

Self-proclaimed President of the Republic of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko leads the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin by the nose.

On January 21, the representative of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said this on the air of the telethon.

According to him, rumors about a possible invasion of Belarus are only part of Russia's psychological operation.

Ukrainian intelligence has all the information about the Belarusian dictator and the situation inside the country.

In particular, the GUR knows about the number of strike groups, the readiness of forces, means and other information that allows us to assert the absence of a threat.

Yusov added that even if the situation changes, Ukraine is ready to retaliate against the enemy and has already worked out all possible scenarios.

"It is in the interests of Putin and Russia to push the topic of Belarus as much as possible, but Lukashenko doesn't really play it anymore either. Recently, we saw how he led Lavrov (the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry - ed.) by the nose, told how much he loved Putin, and then said that does not see a threat from Ukraine. He does not want to take suicidal actions," Yusov noted.

It will be recalled that the analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War are convinced that there will be no attack on Ukraine from the north due to the lack of equipment and personnel of the occupiers in Belarus.

The probable offensive from the territory of the Republic of Belarus may begin no earlier than the fall of 2023.
