Over the past day, the Russian military shelled 21 towns and villages of the Zaporizhia region, the head of the regional military administration, Aleksandar Starukh, said.
"Our communities survived 166 shellings.
Another 18 destroyed houses were added to the register," he wrote.
Yesterday, a woman died in Gulyaipol, and in the city of Orekhova, a movie theater caught fire, two civilians were injured, Starukh said.
