Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, Vasyl Lozynsky, was detained on suspicion of embezzlement of state funds.

The Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, ordered the preparation of documents for the release of Lozynskyi.

This was reported by the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.

"According to the media, NABU conducted searches and detained the deputy minister. The Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine provides full assistance to the investigation. Vasyl Lozinsky will be dismissed from his position. The relevant order to prepare the necessary documents has already been issued by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov," the ministry said in a statement.

We will remind you that the ex-head of the State Reserve will be tried for embezzlement of UAH 10 million of budget funds.
