The meeting will be focused on deepening the articulated work to face local challenges and guarantee that the voice of the 33 member nations is heard on the global stage, the Argentine Presidency said in its statement.

This week the Argentine coordinator of Celac had told Télam that at the Summit they

will discuss how to continue the work to strengthen Celac as a mechanism for coordination and political agreement.

The Casa Rosada also highlighted that the Summit will be chaired by the Argentine president, Alberto Fernández, and will seek to strengthen regional cooperation.
