On January 20, Russian troops continue their offensive in Donbas, and Ukrainian defenders at the same time inflict counterattacks on the enemy.

This is evidenced by the data of a new map of combat operations from the British Ministry of Defense.

Thus, the occupiers are threatening to attack the positions of the Armed Forces in several directions in Donetsk region and Luhansk region: in the area of

Svatovo, Kreminnaya, Bakhmut and Soledar

.

Defense forces of Ukraine successfully repel enemy attacks.

In addition, Ukrainian troops launch counterattacks along the Svatove-Kreminna line in the Luhansk region.

Artillery duels continue in other areas of the front in Ukraine.

Ukrainian defenders deliver accurate blows to the positions of the invaders in the territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions that they temporarily captured.

The illegal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is continuing.

We will remind, according to Ukrainian intelligence, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered the military command to completely capture Donbas by March 2023.

According to military analyst Petr Chernyk, in the near future the hostilities in Donbas will develop in the same way as at this moment.

That is, in the conditions of heavy fighting, Ukrainian troops will "grind" a large number of Russian manpower there.

Note that the Pentagon currently does not see the potential for a new Russian offensive expected in the spring.

They think that the new weapons transferred to Ukraine can change the dynamics on the battlefield.
