9,136 motor vehicles were checked as part of the ordered specialist police operation to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

11,685 drivers and passengers were checked.

2,702 slips and 664 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations, reports the Ministry of the Interior. 

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers.

Within the past day, a total of 22 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after consuming alcohol - 8 of them drove after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand,14 - with over 1.2 per 1,000, and four stopped for testing refused to be tested.

26 people were caught driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and 12 refused to be tested.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs caught 19 drunk and 7 drugged drivers in one day

From the summary data: 2,689 motor vehicles and 2,932 drivers and passengers were checked by the "linear control" method;
