On January 23, the heads of foreign affairs of the 27 EU member states will decide to send a new mission to Armenia.

APA reports with reference to "Sputnik Armenia" that a high-ranking EU official told journalists in Brussels.

He noted that sending the mission should contribute to stability in the South Caucasus.

It should be recalled that "Politico" published information citing diplomatic sources that the EU plans to send a mission consisting of 100 observers to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with a two-year mandate.
